profine Group inaugurates state-of-the-art mixing plant at its Indian factory
On April 23, 2024, the profine Group celebrated the inauguration of the latest milestone in its international production network: the “Kömmerling Compounding Centre” at the Vadodara extrusion plant in India.
The state-of-the-art mixing plant marks a significant step in the profine Group's expansion in India. The company has been successfully producing country-specific profile systems in Vadodara since 2013 and moved into a new own 20,000 square meter factory in 2017 to meet increasing demand. The system provider is currently producing on five extrusion lines with additional capacity for foiling the profiles in the factory.
The “Kömmerling Compounding Centre” has an annual capacity of 9,000 tons and sets new local standards in terms of technology and quality assurance. Likewise, the investment underlines profine Group's ongoing commitment to meeting the needs of Indian customers while ensuring that every product meets the highest quality standards.
Around 150 guests were present at the ceremony, which was hosted by Dr. Peter Mrosik, owner and CEO of the profine Group, together with COO Christian Amling, Farid Khan, the CEO of profine India, and Dominik Schreiber, the international technical director of profine.
During the inauguration ceremony, Dr. Mrosik emphasized the importance of sustainability in the company's strategy and in this project. From using recycled materials to ensuring product longevity, profine Group strives to pave the path towards a more sustainable future and continue its success story together with its Indian partners in one of the world's largest growth regions.
